Corrine Jones Park
Wednesdays on August 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 from 8-9:30am Join fellow community members, gardeners, and Conservancy staff for a weekly Gather & Garden session at Corrine Jones Community Garden, located in downtown Charleston near Hampton Park! The Conservancy provides all necessary tools and directions on site, no green thumb necessary. This is a great opportunity to learn about vegetable gardening in the Lowcountry, meet fellow community members, and give back to a great cause. Produce from Corrine Jones Community Garden is harvested and donated to local community partners such as Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor Senior Center. There is free street parking available around the park, please be mindful of signs and restrictions. Volunteers should come prepared with closed toed shoes, clothes to get dirty in and bring plenty of water. Interested volunteers must fill out a waiver and signup for a volunteer shift by following this link: bttr.im… Signing up allows us to plan based on how many people will attend, and so we can alert you if we ever need to cancel. Please note that registering through Facebook is not considered as signing up for a volunteer shift. Want to learn more about volunteering with the Charleston Parks Conservancy?
